Collection: Grounded Practice at Solo Studio's
A capsule collection of bold ceramic artworks from the ‘Grounded Practice’ exhibition displayed at Spier Wine Farm in the Western Cape will be traveling to Solo Studio's in Reibeek Kasteel from the 24 to 26 October 2025.
When ceramics aren’t purely functional – like pottery mugs and jugs – and push into the realm of art, they make for interesting objects of contemplation and conversation.
These powerful pieces explore ideas of balance, belonging and sustainability, all through the grounding medium of clay. They reflect each artist’s emotional and creative responses to a rapidly shifting world, while also celebrating the meditative and healing qualities of the medium.
