In the stillness of time, wood meets water.
In this exhibition there are three series of paintings and three series of sculptures.
“I am curious about how we see, and how our eyes and hands touch images and surfaces” says Trappler.
Using a variety of materials including, gesso, acrylic, oil pastel, wood, paper, canvas, ceramics, bronze and steel, the artist encourages the viewer to explore various imaginative possibilities.
Connecting new experiences with previous ways of making images, the work in this exhibition brings focus to the smallness of human beings and the rivers of possibility that live around us.
