Carin Dorrington is a South African Postwar & Contemporary artist.

She creates ceramic vessels and sculptures featuring bright colours and patterns. Numerous key galleries and museums have showcased Carin Dorrington’s work in the past.

Although painting was my main form of creativity I discovered the joys of clay during my teaching career – and never looked back! I love the tactile quality of clay and the fact that I can never take myself too seriously when working in this medium. Although I have done some workshops over the years, I am mostly self-taught and every new project is still an immense learning experience.
