About the artwork

Mwali’s work abstractly expresses the exploration of how we perceive the universe and respond to external experiences in unique ways. “I believe that the universe manifests itself in a vast selection of abstract concepts,” the artists explains. Focusing on three distinct perspectives – dreams, the present moment, our digital world – the abstract forms convey the vibrations and feelings associated with perceptions, enhancing the viewer’s experience. Being fully present, Mwali contends, is a chance to meditate on the moment.
